$z\text{ = }\frac{\text{x - }\mu}{\sigma}$

where:

$\begin{gathered} x\text{ = raw score} \\ \mu\text{ = population mean} \\ \sigma\text{ = }population\text{ standard deviation} \end{gathered}$
