It can also point out specific ideas. Demonstrative pronouns are this, that, these, those. This and that are singular and these and those are plural.

For example: This is a computer. Those are buildings.

The same words are used as demonstrative adjectives when they modify nouns or pronouns: “this computer,” “those buildings.”
