Applying the Trapezoidal sum


Sum=(h)/(2)(sum\text{ of first and last ordinates\rparen}+h(sum\text{ of other ordinates\rparen}
Sum=(b-a)/(2)(f(a)+f(b))
\begin{gathered} sum_1=(2-0)/(2)(7+4)=11 \\ \\ sum_2=(5-2)/(2)(3.2+4)=10.8 \\ \\ sum_3=(7-5)/(2)(3.2+2.2)=5.4 \\ \\ sum_4=(11-7)/(2)(2.2+1.6)=7.6 \\ \\ sum_5=(12-11)/(2)(1+1.6)=1.3 \end{gathered}

Hence, Total Sum = 11 + 10.8 + 5.4 + 7.6 + 1.3 = 36.1
