The answer is 11/13 because a through d cant be selected so its 26-4 which equals 24. This becomes 22/26 which can be simplified to the answer 11/13.

Answer:
(11)/(13)

Explanation:

The total number of letters in the English alphabet = 26

Since D comes at number 4 then,

The number of letters comes after D in the English alphabet =26-4=22

Now, the probability that the letter comes after D in the alphabet is given by :-

P=\frac{\text{letters comes after D}}{\text{total letters}}\\\\\Rightarrow\ P=(22)/(26)\\\Rightarrow\ P=(11)/(13)

Hence, the probability that the letter comes after D in the alphabet=
(11)/(13)
