Answer:

prime numbers are divisible by only 2 numbers: 1 and itself

Explanation:

composite numbers have more factors

2 is the only even prime number

all the other ones are composite

numbers like 55 are not prime.

guess why?

The last digit is 5

which means numbers ending in 5 are divisible by 5

Prime numbers have 2 numbers: 1 and that number itself

Composite numbers have more than 2: example; 2 and 31: 2,3,5,7,11,13,19,23,29, and 31.
