Hi there! :)

Explanation:

SLOPE=(Y_2-Y_1)/(X_2-X_1)=(RISE)/(RUN)

(0-(-10))/((-4)-0)=(10)/(-4)=(10/2)/(-4/2)=(5)/(-2)=-(5)/(2)

Slope is -5/2

Final answer is -5/2

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a nice day! :)

:D

Slope = (y_2 -y_1)/(x_2-x_1) where the points are (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂).

So, plugging in the points we were given

Slope = (0 -(-10))/(-4-0) = (10)/(-4) = \boxed{\bf{-(5)/(2)}}

The slope is -5/2.
