The formula of the volume of a pyramid is 1/3 b*h where b is the area of the base which in this case is a square and has a formula of s^2. Hence doubling the side would make the new figure having four times the original volume. Answer is true. In 2, if all three dimensions of a rectangular prism double, then the volume will be 2^3 or 8 times larger. Answer is false.
