They must sell at least ----- tickets

If they sell 200 ticket will they reach their goal of at least $1000? Type YES or NO

If A&T sell 150 tickets how much money did they raise?

Let

x -----> the number of tickets

we have

15x-800\ge1,000

this is the inequaity that represent this problem

solve for x

\begin{gathered} 15x-800\ge1,000 \\ 15x\ge1,000+800 \\ 15x\ge1,800 \\ x\ge120 \end{gathered}

therefore

they must be sell at least 121 tickets

If they sell 200 ticket will they reach their goal of at least $1000? NO

Part 3

If A&T sell 150 tickets how much money did they raise?

15(150)-800=\$1,450

answer part 3 is $1,450
