$2x-10=(1)/(3)(x-9)\\ 6x-30=x-9\\ 5x=21\\ x=(21)/(5)$

$2x-10=(1)/(3)(x-9)\\\\ 2x-10=(1)/(3)x-3\ \ \ | Add\ 10\\\\ 2x=(1)/(3)x+7\ \ \ | subtract \ (1)/(3)x\\\\ 1(2)/(3)x=7\\\\ (5)/(3)x=7\ \ \ \ | divide\ by\ (5)/(3)\\\\ x=7*(3)/(5)\\\\ \boxed{x=4,2}$
