The surface area of prism consist of a triangle and three rectangles.

Determine the surface area of one triangular prism.

\begin{gathered} A=(1)/(2)\cdot8\cdot3+4.2\cdot5+4.2\cdot5+8\cdot4.2 \\ =12+21+21+33.6 \\ =87.6 \end{gathered}

Determine the surface area of 10 triangular prism.

\begin{gathered} A^(\prime)=87.6*10 \\ =876 \end{gathered}

Determine the pints of paint to cover 876 square feet.

\begin{gathered} n=(876)/(50) \\ =17.52 \\ \approx18 \end{gathered}

So 18 pints of paint are used by musuem.
