Is the function f(x)=(-4/3)^-6 an exponential function? If so, identify the base. If not, why not?

Answer:

No. It is not because the function has no variables raised to an exponent (or any at all). If you simplify it, it's the same as saying f(x) = -729/4096

This of course assumes that it was transcribed correctly for the question. If there is an x within the function, then the answer may differ.
