Solve for x: |x − 2| + 10 = 12

so rmeember abaolute value means makes inside positive

so what you do is
if
|x|=y
assume that
x=y and x=-y

so

first get absolute value by itself
|x-2|+10=12
minus 10 both sides
|x-2|=2
now assume
x-2=2 and x-2=-2

solve each
x-2=2
add 2
x=4

x-2=-2
add 2
x=0

x=4 and 0

answer is A
