\huge\textbf{Hey there!}

\mathsf{(2)/(3)x+ 15 = 17}

\large\textbf{SUBTRACT 15 to BOTH SIDES}

\mathsf{\frac{}{}x + 15 - 15 = 17 - 15}

\large\textbf{CANCEL out: 15 - 15 because it give you 0}\\\\\large\textbf{KEEP: 17 - 15 because it help solve for the x-value}

\large\textbf{NEW EQUATION: }\mathbf{(2)/(3)x = 2}

\large\textbf{SIMPLIFY IT!}

\large\textbf{MULTIPLY by }\mathbf{(3)/(2)}\large\textbf{ to BOTH SIDES}

\mathsf{(3)/(2)*(2)/(3)x = (3)/(2)*2}

\large\textbf{CANCEL out: }\mathbf{(3)/(2)*(2)/(3)}\large\textbf{ because it give you 1}\\\\\large\textbf{KEEP: }\mathbf{2*(3)/(2) }\large\textbf{ because it give you the answer for the x-value}

\large\textbf{NEW EQUATION: }\mathbf{x = (3)/(2)*2}

\large\textbf{SIMPLIFY IT!}

\mathsf{x = 3}

\huge\textbf{Therefore, your answer is: \boxed{\mathsf{x = 3}}}\huge\checkmark

\huge\textbf{Good luck on your assignment \& enjoy}\\\huge\textbf{your day!}

2/3 x + 15 = 17
2/3 x = 17 - 15 = 2
x = 2 ÷ 2/3 = 2 x 3/2 = 3
