The correct answer should be a light-powered microscope

Models are usually any representations of objects from the real world. In this case, it includes maps, drawings, explanations, and similar. A light-powered microscope is not a model because it is the real thing, but if there was a model of a light-powered microscope made out of cardboard, then it would be a model.
