we have the following parameters for the segmented figure

adjacent = 9

Hypotenus = 21

from SOH, CAH, TOA

Cos# = adjacent / hypotenus

Cos# = 9 /21

cos # = 0.4286

# = (cos)^-1 0.4286

# =64.62 degrees

Then

cos 64.62 = 21 / x

x cos 64.62 = 21

divide both sides by cos64.62

xcos64.62 / cos 64.62 = 21 / cos 64.62

x = 21 / cos 64.62

x = 21 / 0.4286

x = 49. 00000

in radiacal form
