Is the sum for 3 1/8 + 2 5/8 5 6/8 or 5 5/8

3 1/8 + 2 5/8

3 + 2 = 5
1/8 + 5/8 = 6/8
No need to change denominator since its 8 for both.

5 6/8
Now 6/8 can be reduced to 3/4 if needed.
