The area of triangle ABC is 17.5 or 35/2

To solve this, we need to know the base and height of the triangle.

In this case, the base is the side AB, and the height is the side BC

Now we can count the units to get the lenght of the sides:

AB is 7 units long

BC is 5 units long.

Now we can use the formula for the area of a triangle:

A=(bh)/(2)

Where A is the area, b is the base and h is the height.

Putting the values of b and h:

A=(7\cdot5)/(2)=(35)/(2)=17.5

Then the area is 35/2 or 17.5 square units
