3x + y = 4 . . . . . (1)
2x + y = 4 . . . . . (2)
From (1), y = 4 - 3x . . . (3)
from (2), y = 4 - 2x . . . . (4)
Equating (3) and (4), we have
4 - 3x = 4 - 2x
-2x + 3x = 0
x = 0
From (1), 3(0) + y = 4 => y = 4
Therefore, solution is (0, 4)
