To find the slope we have to transform the given equation to the y = mx + b

\begin{gathered} \text{ -12x -3y=3} \\ \text{ -3y = 12x + 3} \\ y=\text{ }\frac{12x+3}{\text{ -3}} \\ y=\text{ }\frac{12x}{\text{ -3}}\text{ + \lparen}\frac{3}{\text{ -3}}) \\ y=\text{ -}4x\text{ - }1 \end{gathered}

The slope is -4

To find the y-intercept, we have to consider x=0, because when x is 0, it is intercepting the Y-axis with any given Y coordinate.

\begin{gathered} y\text{ = -4\lparen0\rparen - 1} \\ y\text{ = -1} \end{gathered}

So, the y-intercept is (0,-1). So we have the slope and the y intercept, we can graph the line.

The equauun of a line is given below.Find the slope and the y-intercept. Then use-example-1
