launch angle
\theta =78^(\circ)

initial velocity
u=18\ m/s

For the projectile motion, maximum height is given by


H_(max)=(u^2\sin^2 \theta)/(2g)

Putting values


H_(max)=(18^2\cdot \sin^2(78^(\circ)))/(2*9.81)


H_(max)=(324*0.956)/(2*9.81)=15.78\ m
