Find the simplified form of the expression. Give your answer in scientific notation.(3x10^-6)(6x10^-8)

Answer: To find the simplified form of the expression presented above you simply have to multiply 3 and 6 to get our first term. Then you simply add the exponents and we will get the following. 18x10^14. We simply did a multiplication in scientific notation. The rules are that we multiply the coefficients and finally add the exponents(base 10 remains).

( 3 * 10 ^(-6)) * ( 6 * 10 ^(-8)) = \\ = 18 * 10 ^(-14)= \\ =1.8*10 ^(-13)
