Admission to the fair for one day - $9
Hour-long practice pay (opportunity cost) - $15
15 + 9 = 24
You lost $24 on not working at the university for that day.

The total cost of skipping practice to go to the fairĀ is $9 the opportunity cost is $15 therefore you are loosing $24 because you miss your chance of earning the $15 and you lost $9 from the mony you already had so when you add the together you get $24 hope this helps
