Apply the slope formula:

m=\text{ }(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Where:

(x1,y1) = (-7,21)

(y1,y2) = ( -6,17)

Replacing:

m=(17-21)/(-6-(-7))=(17-21)/(-6+7)=(-4)/(1)=-4

slope = -4
