The formula for finding the area of a parallelogram is;
Area =length ×height
Area =2.7×5.2

The figure is a triangle of base length 17 cm and a vertical height of 4 cm.
Area of a triangle = 1/2×length×height
=1/2×17×4=34 cm
²

Question 3
The figure is a combination of two figures, a rectangle and a triangle.
You should find the area of the 2 figures and then add them together.
Rectangle=length ×width
=13×9=117
Triangle =1/2×base×height
=1/2×11×(13-8)=1/2×11×5=27.5
Total area = 117 + 27.5 =144.5 cm
