4/11 = 9/x......4 cans to 11 = 9 cans to x
cross multiply
(4)(x) = (11)(9)
4x = 99
x = 99/4
x = 24.75 for 9 cans
or this way..
4 cans for 11 = 11/4 = 2.75 per can...for 9 cans = 9 * 2.75 = 24.75
same answer either way :)
