To Find :-

Solution :-

At first Patrick had twice of Susan.

Hence,

He have 2 × 120 = $240

Let the money received be x

• x + 120 = 3(240 - x)
• x + 120 = 720 - 3x
• 3x + x = 720 - 120
• 4x = 720 - 120
• 4x = 600
• x = 600/4
• x = 150
