Given:

The height of statue is x

The right angles triangle is shown where angle of elevation is 66 degrees and base is 4 m

To find: x

Using trigonometric ratio in the right angled triangle,

\tan 66^(\circ)=\frac{perpendicular}{\text{base}}

Here, perpendicular=x and base =4 m

\tan 66^(\circ)=(x)/(4)
\begin{gathered} x=\tan 66^(\circ)*4 \\ =2.246*4 \\ =8.984 \end{gathered}

Thus, height of statue is 8.98 m

Hence, option (1) is correct.
