Mandatory volunteering is a high school requirement that affects millions of students. Only 26.4 percent of teenagers willingly volunteer in the U.S. Obligatory volunteering has been established as a debatable topic as it has been recognized as violation to our rights. Few students have claimed that volunteering is a valuable asset in their courses. Compulsory community service is defilement to the characterization of volunteering, and should be discredited in schools.
