Simple....

you have:

(a)/(b) =c

You're trying to find b..so isolate it...

b* (a)/(b) =c*b

leaving you

a=c*b

still not done....

(a)/(c) = (c*b)/(c)

(a)/(c) =b

Thus, your answer.

(A)/(b) = c Multiply both sides by b
A = bc Divide both sides by c

(A)/(c) = b Switch the sides to make it easier to read
b =
(A)/(c)
