The 1st stage: x, the 2nd stage: y.
x + y = 152
x = y + 28
y + 28 + y = 152
2 y = 152 - 28
2 y = 124
y = 124 : 2 =
62
x = 62 + 28 =
90
Answer:
the first stage burns 90 seconds and the second burns 62 seconds.
