3 x + 2 y = 13 / * 2
2 x + 3 y = 12 / * (-3 )
----------------------------
6 x + 4 y = 26
+
- 6 x - 9 y = -36
---------------------
- 5 y = -10
y = - 10 : ( - 5 ) = 2
3 x + 4 = 13
3 x = 9, x = 3
-------------------------
1st equation: 2nd equation:
3 * 3 + 2 * 2 = 13 2 * 3 + 3 * 2 = 12
9 + 4 = 13 ( correct) 6 + 6 = 12 ( correct )
Answer: ( x, y ) = ( 3, 2 )
