The answer must be positive. Let's say that X = -10.

10-(-10)

The negatives cancel leaving us with a positive number. Thus every number that X can be will result in a positive answer.

Answer:

the value of x makes the value of the expression positive.

Explanation:

The value of x is negative.

10-x

For example lets take x= -5

Plug in -5 for x in
10-x

10-(-5), negative times negative becomes positive

10+5=15

When the value of x is negative then the value of the expression becomes positive.
