68/3=22.66 so its a third of the original density

Answer:

The density would be same.

Explanation:

\because \text{Density}=\frac{\text{Mass}}{\text{Volume}}

Here, the mass of the original box = 68 g,

Suppose V be the volume of the original box,

Then, the density of the original box =
(68)/(V)

After cutting this box into 3 equal pieces,

Mass of each piece =
(68)/(3)

While, the volume of each piece =
(V)/(3)

So, the density of each piece =
(68/3)/(V/3) =
(68)/(V)

Hence, the density would be same.
