Answer:

Governments can use this for manipulative reasons to control the emotions and cravings of the citizens

Step-by-step explanation:

Some people feels that when psychological research is being conducted to understand the cravings, desires, emotional and psychological needs of humans, the outcome of those research can be used by Governments or higher states authorities against the rights of the citizens leading to the violation of rights.

When the behaviour of individuals are being controlled, they tend to be subjective and manipulated. The power of rational reasoning will be tampered with. Such one wont be able to make decisions that is expected in the society.
