SOLUTION

Write out the expression

2x^2-18x+36

Bring out the common factor amoung the three terms

2(x^2-9x+18)

Then, factor the expression in the paranthesis

\begin{gathered} 2(x^2-6x-3x+18) \\ 2(x(x-6)-3(x-6)) \\ \end{gathered}

Hence

2(x-3)(x-6)

Therefore

The factored form of the trinomial is 2(x-3)(x-6)
