Purana is one of the oldest scriptures as it tells about the Hindu gods and goddesses. It has all about Hindu gods such as Brahma, Padma, Shiva, Narada, and Vishnu.

Bhagavad Gita is a 700-verse Hindu scripture, written by Vyasa. It has 18 chapters which depicts the Mahabharata. This scripture demonstrate basic Hindu religious concepts as shows that material nature, the living entities, the Lord, and time are eternal. People read Gita for their inner peace in Hindu religion.

Vedas are the oldest scriptures of Hindu religion. There are four Vedas: the Yajurveda, the Rigveda, the Samaveda and the Atharvaveda. they demonstrate basic Hindu religious concepts by saying that Lord Shiva is the supreme god and Hindu believes that these text are pass on by god to the next generation.
