Write the equation of the line that passes through (−1, 5) and has a slope of 3 in point-slope form. (2 points)

x + 1 = 3(y − 5)
x − 5 = 3(y + 1)
y − 5 = 3(x + 1)

The point-slope form:
y-y_0=m(x-x_0)

m = 3; (-1; 5)
\to x_0=-1;\ y_0=5

subtitute

y - 5 = 3(x - (-1))

y - 5 = 3(x + 1)
