What is the difference between mature and immature writing?

Im guessing its formal writing (mature) and informal (immature). The mature writing would be written towards a professor while an immature writing would be towards like a friend. Immature writting would lack the formal structure of a written paper.

mature writing is when you have good spelling and nice grammer and immature is when you mess up a lot as in bad spelling etc.
