For J (2, -1), K (2, 5)

d= √((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)) \\ = √((2 - 2)^2+(5-(-1))^2) \\ = √(0^2+(5+1)^2) = √(6^2) \\ = √(36) =6

For L (10, 14), M (-8, 14)

d= √((-8 - 10)^2+(14-14))^2) \\ = √((-18)^2+0^2) = √(324) \\ = 18
