No . 6x+4y=12 in linear equation form is
y= -3/2x + 3 not 4 because 12 divided by 4 is 3.

6x + 4y = 12...subtract 6x from both sides
4y = -6x + 12 ...divide both sides by 4
(4/4)y = (-6/4)x + 12/4...reduce
y = -3/2x + 4 <== y = mx + b
