The 28th student gets both the paint and the crayons. He gets the 7th tube of paint and the 4th pack of crayons.

Answer:

Every fourth student gets a tube of paint. Every seventh student gets a pack of crayons.

Now to know, which student is the first person to get both supplies, we will find the least common multiple or LCM of 4 and 7.

4 = 2 x 2

7 = 1 x 7

LCM = 2 x 2 x 7 = 28

So, we get that the 28th student is the first person to get both supplies.

And he will get 28/4 = 7th tube of paint and 28/7 = 4th pack of crayons.
