The correct answers should be A and B and C but C. He guessed what Lee was going to do is the best one. He knew that the Confederate forces would want to attack with infantry so he didn't use artillery. When they thought that the Union artillery was down and they decided to rush them with infantry, he opened fire on the rushing soldiers and killed more than half of them, the other half being destroyed by soldiers who were there fighting.
