If Δ GEF and Δ HEF are congruent than:
2 ( x + 2 ) = 60 / : ( -2 ) we will divide both sides of the equation by -2.
x + 2 = 30
x = 30 - 2
x = 28
Answer : C ) 28°

I added a screenshot with the diagram

Answer:

x = 28

Step-by-step explanation:

When two triangles are congruent, corresponding sides as well as corresponding angles are equal

We are given that:

ΔGEF and ΔHEF are congruent

This means that:

angle G = angle H

angle GEF = angle HEF

angle EFG = angle EFH

GE = HE

GF = HF

EF = EF

We are given that:

angle GFE =60° and angle HFE = 2(x+2)

Since the two angles are equal, we can get x as follows:

2(x+2) = 60

x + 2 = 30

x = 30 - 2

x = 28

Hope this helps :)
