find the common denominator (thats 8) after you found that you multiply 3/4 x 2/2 which is equaled to 6/8 and then you add 6/8 and 8/8 and your answer is 14/16 and if you want it in simplest form then it is 7/8 :)

Hello! 3/4 + 8/8 = 14/8 or 1 6/8. To get the answer, follow these simple steps!

1. Find a common denominator. Since 4 is a multiple of 8, we can use 8.

2. Now we make equivalent fractions. 3/4 = 6/8. We don't change 8/8 because it already have a denominator of 8.

3. Add! 6/8 + 8/8 = 14/8 or 1 6/8

And you're done! Hope this Helps! Let me know if you are still confused.
