Pangaea is a hypothetical supercontinent that included all current land masses, believed to have been in existence before the continents broke apart during the Triassic and Jurassic Periods.

Pangaea or Pangea was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. it assembled from earlier continental units approximately 300 million years ago and it began to break apart about 175million years ago.
