Answer:

The Good Samaritan Law

Step-by-step explanation:

The Good Samaritan Law protects an individual who attempts to help another person or group of people when they are in peril, injured, ill or suffering from another type of crisis, from any criminal or civil liability as a result of their actions.

For example, no one is required to provide assistance to a driver that suffered an accident, the law states that you must notify 911, but if you try to assist the injured driver, he cannot sue you (or the police charge you of any crime) if you hurt him, e.g. break his leg while trying to help him.
