  • Area of terrace : 10 in.² [ by calculation ]

Solution:

Area of rectangle ( terrace ) = Length × width

= ( 5 × 2 ) in.²

= 10 in.²

A = 90 sq ft

Explanation:

since the width is 2" then it is 6' per given info

the length can be found by using this proportion: 2"/6' = 5"/l

2l = 30

l = 15'

A = 15 x 6 = 90 sq ft
