- 3 < 2x - 1 < 2 =

solve - 3 < 2x - 1

2 x - 1 > - 3

2 x > - 3 + 1

2 x > - 2

x > - 2 / 2

x > - 1

Solve 2 x - 1 < 2

2 x < 2 + 1

2 x < 3

x < 3/2

Combine the rangers:

-1 < x < 3/2

interval notation : ( - 1 , 3/2)
