second, inside each large box there are 4 medium boxes -> N = 10 + 4*10 = 10+40=50

third, inside each of the 40 medium boxes, there are 5 small boxes -> N = 10 + 4*10 + 5*4*10 = 50 + 5*40 = 50+200 = 250

Therefore, there are 250 boxes all together
