The number of shirts Lorenzo buys times how much they cost plus the number of pairs of pants he buys time how much they cost.

Let

s--------> the cost in dollars of a piece of shirt

p--------> the cost in dollars of a pair of pant

T--------> total cost of Lorenzo's buy in dollars

we know that

T=3s+2p

therefore

the answer is

the expression represents the total cost of Lorenzo's buy in dollars (the total cost of the 3 shirts and the 2 pairs of pants)
